From Famine to Flood...

Three simpler variations of the Todmorden Cyclocross posters.

You've probably noticed the race hasn't happened yet (which is a good thing for a poster advertising an event) and I think it'll be a doozy. A mixture of challenging course (slick turns and cobbles combining to make slick turny cobbles) and stacked field of elite riders building form for the nationals while the rest of us try to best ourselves and try not to be too much of a moving chicane.

Bring bells, bring flags, bring beer, make noise.

Juggling...

I've been juggling quite a few things recently and in the process things tend to get dropped. Unfortunately the frequent blog posting was the the thing to fall to the floor (much like myself in recent cross races - but that's another muddy story).

So what's been going on here that's caused a breakdown in transmission?

A recipe of racing, training, artworking and working. Blend until finely chopped then add some more. Garnish with team kit design and screen printing... stop, relax (for a beer break), then repeat.

First up is poster work for Chipps Chippendale at Singletrack magazine.

This poster is the all singing all dancing infomercial and three more versions exist, which I'll upload in due course once I've crushed the files to fit.

More detail about the race can be found here.
