Snaking...

I rode the moto over the Snake last weekend and it made me realise how much I really enjoy riding it and want more saddle time, whilst I need to revisit that part of the Peak as I haven't ridden that spot on the bicycle for a while.

In the meantime brand new edit from Thibaud Poulain, class.

Other stuff I'm glued to is Roland's photos (something new every couple of days, the man's an an animal) and Brit Dan Patten. He's smashing it in Belgium and making a pretty good job of it too.

What's goin on...

So while the world is sidetracked by skinny bloke in pink going up hills fast and another skinny bloke who used to go up hills fast and their common thread of stuff they've never taken maybe take a minute and have a look Roland Desmet's blog and photos.

Be it comedy podium gurning, flying bikes or Stybar sprinting for the win it's all there in a very unassuming but expansive volume of Belgian pro continental cycling.

Anticipation...

I love this time of year.

The full winter kit, the final sabre rattling rides, the anticipation for the fireworks on our behalf.

Quickstep hit the cobbles first, while it seems Lotto have left Gilbert behind.
